KnowBe4 lists its security awareness training at $1.63 to $3.75 per staff member per month. Those are the prices for a 3-year term; a 1-year term is available, but its price comes only in a quote. A school with 60 staff pays $1,534 to $2,448 a year at the 3-year list price. The bill grows with every staff member you add.
Tartan App prices US public school districts and Canadian school boards per school, with unlimited staff. Staff training for that same school is $191 a year, on a 1-year term. Here's the math for a school your size.

KnowBe4 sells two training tiers, SAT Foundation and SAT Advanced. The price per seat falls as you add seats.

Add-Ons Cost Extra
PhishER Plus, KnowBe4's tool for sorting reported emails, costs $1.50 per seat per month for 101 to 500 seats and $1.15 for 501 to 1,000. Compliance Plus, its extra compliance training library, costs $0.93 and $0.82 for those same two ranges.
KnowBe4 Pricing for a School District
Count every staff member with a school email account: teachers, aides, office staff, and administrators. Use that number as your seat count. Here's what three sizes of school system pay at KnowBe4's list price.

Vendr, which tracks software contracts, reports that the median buyer pays $7,799 a year for KnowBe4, based on 684 purchases.
Check Your Renewal Date First
A school that signs a 3-year term in 2026 is committed into 2029. Look up your contract's end date now, and start comparing options at least one budget cycle before it. A quote is easier to weigh when you have a real alternative next to it.
KnowBe4 Education Pricing
KnowBe4 publishes no education or school discount. Its pricing page names two discounts: one for nonprofits and one for competitive upgrades. Its education page covers K-12 and higher education and lists no prices.
So your starting point is the same list price a business sees. If there's a school discount, you'll only find it in a quote.
KnowBe4 K-12 Pricing for Student Training
KnowBe4 sells student training as an add-on called Student Edition. It lists at $0.17 per seat per month for 101 to 1,000 seats, with no published price outside that range. For 600 students, that's $1,224 a year.
The bigger limit is age. KnowBe4 says Student Edition prepares "students aged 16+", and its topics include campus scams. That leaves out elementary and middle school students.

A school with fewer than 101 staff pays more than the median for Foundation.
Can a school buy KnowBe4 for one year?
Yes. KnowBe4 sells 1-year terms, but it only publishes prices for a 3-year term, so you'll need a quote to see the 1-year price. Tartan App publishes 1-year, 3-year, and 5-year prices for every product.
